She then spent a little bit of time staying at her manager’s apartment before finding their arrangement to be too crowded with the two of them and their respective dogs. So, she pivoted and found a hotel while looking for a permanent place to call home.

But, before she knew it, “That one night turned into eight months.”

And that is when the allure of “van life, car life, RV life” caught her attention. By March 2022, Dawn was spending her first nights in her car. And though she found it to be “scary” at first, she was able to quickly adapt to her new lifestyle.

“Sometimes in life, we end up in situations that we weren’t expecting,” Dawn wrote in the caption of her video. “There’s something we need to learn or teach but we’re too afraid to push ourselves out of our comfort zones to do it so the universe does it for us!  “

“I took a risk and jumped head first into car life,” she added, “and WOW, what a crazy, fun, sometimes scary ride it’s been lol!”
