Huawei scheduled an event for March 20, when we expect to see the new Pura series (formerly known as P series). There will also be a foldable, which should have a 3:2 or 16:10 aspect ratio screen.
The phone was revealed by Richard Yu, Huawei CEO, in a video posted on social media. The executive was filmed using this device, which is hyped up to be a game-changer in the world of foldables.
The new phone might be a part of the Pura line-up, since the Pocket moniker has never been mentioned by Yu, it was only reported because the foldable is an evolution of the Pocket 2. We expect it to be similar to the iPad mini when unfolded but with a 6.28″ folding panel and a 3.48″ cover display.
The Huawei CEO loves to be the center of attention with these controlled leaks. We shouldn’t be surprised to see more leaks coming from him in the days, leading to the announcement on Thursday.
