Like most things we spend money on, vacations to Disney World continue to increase in price. A one-day ticket for the Magic Kingdom can cost as much as $199 (though purchasing multiday tickets does bring the per-day cost down significantly). Even the cheapest on-site hotel options average around $150 per night.

But that doesn’t mean that there aren’t ways to save money at Disney through regular special offers and discounts for hotels, tickets and dining plans.
Here’s a run-through of some of the ways that you can save.
Get a free Disney Dining Plan and up to $400 in savings
Disney World’s newest offer is available exclusively for those with the Disney® Visa® Card or the Disney® Premier Visa® Card. With this exclusive discount, Disney Visa credit card holders can get a free Disney Dining Plan with eligible vacation packages.
This offer applies to nondiscounted four-night, four-day vacation packages that include both a room at select Disney hotels and Park Hopper tickets. The offer is good for arrivals on most nights from June 29 through Sept. 30, Oct. 20 through Nov. 1 and Dec. 6 through Dec. 22.
The Disney Dining Plan has two versions: the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan and the Disney Dining Plan. These plans allow you to prepay for a set number of meals and snacks during your Disney World vacation.
If you stay in a Disney Deluxe resort, you’ll receive the Disney Dining Plan, which includes one snack, one quick-service meal and one table-service meal each day. If you stay in a Disney Moderate or Value resort, you’ll get the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, which comes with one snack and two quick-service meals daily.
Usually, we recommend doing the math to decide if a Disney Dining Plan is right for you — but when you can get a dining plan for free, it’s pretty much a no-brainer that you’re getting a good deal. A family of four could easily save more than $1,000 with this deal.

That said, there are rare instances where you can save more with a decent hotel discount, which is one of the many reasons why we recommend working with an authorized Disney vacation planner. They can review the details of your trip and determine which special offer will save you the most money. You can check out the full free dining plan offer details here.
If you don’t already have a Disney Visa credit card, now is the time to apply. Both versions of this card currently have elevated welcome offers.
With the Disney Premier Visa Card, you’ll earn a $400 statement credit after spending $1,000 on purchases in the first three months after account opening. Meanwhile, the no-annual-fee Disney Visa Card offers a $200 statement credit after you spend $500 on purchases in the first three months after opening your account.

If you purchase your Disney World vacation package using the card, that statement credit can offset a portion of your vacation. And, if you use your card to purchase an eligible vacation package, you’d be maximizing the card’s perks to also score a free Disney Dining plan for everyone in your travel party.
Other current Disney World discounts
If you don’t have a Disney Visa credit card or your vacation dates fall outside of the free dining offer eligibility, Disney has a couple of other discounts that can help you save money.
Save up to 30% on Disney hotel stays
Right now, there are two particularly enticing deals on offer to score discounted rooms from winter through summer this year.
If you’re planning a last-minute stay right now, you can save up to 25% on any number of nights at select Disney Resorts Collection hotels until April 30. After that, the spring-summer deal featuring up to 30% off select properties between May 1 and July 31 kicks in.
In both of these deals, your total savings will depend on which hotel you choose and where you stay — but during the spring-summer offer, you’ll see the highest percentage of savings for stays lasting five or more nights. For example, a five-night stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge the second week of June will cost you $359 (plus tax) per night with this discount.
You would pay $514 per night for the same room without the discount. That’s a savings of $155 per night. If you want a more budget-friendly option, you can stay at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort for just $139 (plus tax) per night, a savings of $47 per night over the standard rate of $186.
Annual passholders can save even more — as much as 40% — on hotel rooms with another exclusive offer.
