England will defend their title when the Women’s Euro 2025 takes place across 25 days at eight venues this summer in the 14th edition of the much-anticipated tournament.
Spain, who beat England 1-0 in the 2023 World Cup final, are slight favourites ahead of the Lionesses, with the likes of France and 2022 finalists Germany also among the leading contenders.
The 16 teams will provide games every day across the first 11 days of the finals before seven days of knockout-stage matches.

Women’s Euro 2025 groups: Which teams are playing?
England have a tricky-looking task in Group D, in which they will face 2017 champions the Netherlands and a France team ranked 11th in the world by Fifa.
Elsewhere, eight-time champions Germany meet inaugural winners and four-time finalists Sweden in Group C, while Spain’s attempt to reach the final for the first time pits them against opponents including Italy, runners-up in 1993 and 1997.
