The fate of over two dozen Nations League sides was decided on Sunday night as teams took part in the second legs to determine whether they would be promoted or relegated.
While the top sides, including France, Spain, Croatia, Germany, Italy and Portugal all involved in the quarter-finals, others were looking to move up the leagues and edge closer to a chance of competing for the trophy in the future.
In one of the early kick-offs, Scotland saw their time in League A come to an end at the hands of Greece.
After taking a 1-0 lead away from Athens, Steve Clarke’s side crumbled under the pressure, losing 3-0 at home.
Elsewhere, Slovenia beat rivals Slovakia to keep their place in League B, with the Slovaks remaining in League C.
It took extra time for Adam Cerin to find the winner, but it was enough.
Serbia overcame Austria to remain in the top division, a 3-1 aggregate win batting away their chances of replacing them in League A.

Belgium 3-0 Ukraine
Belgium staged a dramatic second-half comeback to defeat Ukraine 3-0 in Genk, securing their place in Nations League A.
Romelu Lukaku starred with a brace as the hosts overturned a two-goal aggregate deficit to win 4-3 over both legs.
Despite Belgium’s dominance in possession, Ukraine’s disciplined defence kept them at bay for the first half.
The best chance of the half came when Kaliuzhnyi nearly turned the ball into his own net, but the post saved him from an own goal.
Meanwhile, Andriy Lunin made crucial saves, denying Hans Vanaken and Kevin De Bruyne to keep the score level at half-time.
Belgium came out with renewed urgency. In the 70th minute, substitute Maxim De Cuyper made an immediate impact, slotting home from Jeremy Doku’s assist to give Belgium hope.
Just five minutes later, De Bruyne delivered a pinpoint cross for Lukaku, who unleashed a stunning volley to level the aggregate score at 3-3.
With extra time looming, Belgium struck again in the 86th minute. De Bruyne’s clever flick released Vanaken, who slipped Lukaku through on goal.
The striker held off his marker before firing past Lunin to complete the turnaround.

Ireland 2-1 Bulgaria
The Republic of Ireland secured a 2-1 victory over Bulgaria in an intense Nations League fixture at the Aviva Stadium.
A late goal from Adam Idah completed the turnaround after the visitors took an early lead.
Bulgaria started brightly and stunned the hosts in the 30th minute when Valentin Antov capitalised on a corner, finishing from close range to put his side ahead.
Ireland responded with urgency, but they struggled to break down a resolute Bulgarian defence before half-time.
Stephen Kenny’s side came out rejuvenated after the break, and their persistence paid off in the 63rd minute. A precise through ball from Finn Azaz found Evan Ferguson, who slotted the ball into the top corner to level the score at 1-1. The equalizer injected fresh energy into the Irish side, who continued to push forward in search of a winner.
The breakthrough arrived in the 84th minute when Idah pounced on a counter-attack, calmly finishing from the centre of the box to put Ireland ahead.
The closing minutes saw Bulgaria press for an equaliser, with Radoslav Kirilov missing a late chance deep into stoppage time.
