Meghan Markle Shares Rare Video Taken by Prince Harry, Calling Him ‘H’

Meghan Markle is showing off her husband, Prince Harry’s videography skills!

Sharing a clip of some birds flying in a perfect V formation in the blue sky, The Duchess of Sussex, 43, revealed that the video had been captured by her 40-year-old husband, Harry. She sweetly referred to him as “my H” as she thanked him for the beautiful clip, adding, “Flying into the week with my family,” alongside.

The pair shared the sweet nickname the former Suits actress uses for Harry during the filming of their 2019 ITV documentary Harry & Meghan: An African Journey.

Recalling her conversations about tabloid rumors with Harry, she said, “I have said for a long time to H, that’s what I call him, ‘It’s not enough to just survive something. That’s not the point of life. You have got to thrive. You have got to feel happy.’ ”

And during a 2021 appearance on The Late, Late Show with James Corden, Harry hinted that he similarly just calls his wife by her initial. When Corden took Harry’s phone to FaceTime Meghan on the show, the comedian asked the prince what she was saved as in his contacts.

“How do I find the Duchess?” the host said as he looked through Harry’s phone.

“M,” Harry responded.

Later on in that appearance, Meghan shared that she sometimes simply calls her husband “Haz.”

After chatting with Corden via FaceTime, Meghan asked the prince, “Haz, how’s your tour of L.A. going?”

“Haz?” Corden said. “I didn’t know we were calling you ‘Haz’ now.”

“You’re not my wife,” Harry quipped in response.

Ahead of the launch of her new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan earlier this month, the Duchess of Sussex exclusively opened up to PEOPLE about life in Montecito with her husband and their children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3, and launching her own lifestyle brand, As ever.

“There are tons of twists and turns — even with the name,” she said of the brand which was initially called American Riviera Orchard. “I was figuring it out in real time,” she added. 

Meghan also thanked those who opted not to criticize her throughout her journey, saying the experience of launching a brand has been defined by growth. “I appreciate everyone who gave me the grace to make mistakes and figure it out and also to be forgiving with myself through that. It’s a learning curve,” she said.
