Tottenham, too, levelled their tie on aggregate against Dutch club AZ Alkmaar with a first-half goal in their home second leg, with Wilson Odobert scoring twice as Spurs went through 3-2.

Have Man United ever won the Europa League?
Lyon’s 5-4 aggregate defeat to Ajax in the 2016/17 semi-finals sent the Amsterdammers to the final against United, who had gone through with a 2-1 aggregate win over Celta Vigo.
Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored in a 2-0 win for United at the Friends Arena in Solna as they won the competition for the only time in their history.
Have Tottenham ever won the Europa League?
Tottenham won the inaugural edition of the competition – known as the UEFA Cup until 2009 – with a 3-2 aggregate win against Wolves in the 1972 final.
They have triumphed once since then, beating Anderlecht on penalties after both legs ended 1-1 in the 1984 final.
