Say hello to the Poco M7 Pro 5G, a phone that debuted in India, but is seemingly on its way to more markets. It shares most of its specs (and looks) with the Redmi Note 14 5G, but does bring some key differences.
The Poco M7 Pro 5G ships in a grey Lunar Dust, a light purple Lavender Frost, and this interesting green Olive Twilight. Currently, you can get the phone in either 6/128GB for INR 14,000 or 8/256GB for INR 15,500.
You get a good retail package for the price, including a 45W charger, a grey rubber case, and a USB-A to USB-C cable.
As a package, the Poco M7 Pro 5G is very reasonable. You get a 120Hz 1080p AMOLED with 2100 nits, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision.
There’s a potent 5,110mAh battery, which in our testing of the Redmi Note 14 5G scored a reasonable 11:50 hour Active Use score. There’s a 6nm Dimensity 7025 Ultra SoC ticking inside, while the software is Android 14 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS at the helm. Xiaomi promises up to 2 major Android upgrades for the Poco M7 Pro 5G.
You can refer to our review of the Redmi Note 14 5G as a good guide to the Poco M7 Pro 5G. The major difference is in the cameras – the Poco has a 50MP 1/1.95-inch main camera, while the Redmi has a bigger 108MP 1/1.67-inch sensor and an 8MP ultrawide shooter.
