Infinix announced the Note 50x, the fourth addition to its mid-range Note 50 series lineup. This smartphone is the most affordable of the series, featuring a Dimensity 7300 chipset, 128 GB of storage, and a rather basic screen.
The Note 50x is built around a 6.67″ LCD with HD+ resolution. It refreshes at up to 120 Hz and provides typical brightness of 560 nits, with peak brightness reaching 672 nits. There is a punch hole for an 8 MP selfie camera.
Infinix revealed the Note 50x has the world’s first Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipset. In reality, it is the same 4nm platform by Mediatek with a fancy addition in the marketing moniker – it still has a 2.5 GHz CPU and Mali-G615 MC2 GPU.
The rear camera island of the Infinix Note 50x features two cameras, though we only got details on the primary one – 50 MP sensor and f/1.6 lens. This camera supports 4K video recording, and Infinix has included AI features like AI Eraser to help with post processing.
The Android 15-based XOS 15 brings a few more generative AI features. There is a Wallpaper Generator, a writing assistant, the in-house voice assistant Folax as well as Circle to Search.
The phone features a 5,500 mAh battery with 45W charging and 10W wired reverse charging support. The Infinix Note 50x can endure 2,300 charge cycles, offering a stable lifespan of around 6 years — this is a significant improvement over the industry standard of 800 cycles.
The phone boasts decent durability, achieving an IP64 rating and MIL-STD-810H certification. Similar to other Note 50 models, it features a metallic finish wit Sunset Spice Pink (which is technically Brown), Enchanted Purple, Titanium Gray color options. There is also a Sea Breeze Green variant that comes with Vegan Leather back.
The Infinix Note 50x offers two RAM options: 6 GB or 8 GB. The company has not disclosed specific pricing or availability details, which will come later.
