Oppo Find X8 Ultra’s design was revealed by the company on social media. The images confirmed that it will closely resemble the Find X8 Pro, while the large black semi-circle phone was merely a prototype that won’t make it to production.
The Find X8s+ will follow a similar design aesthetic, while the standard X8s will feature a smaller camera island, just as we saw in previous leaks. There is even a brief promotional video that Oppo shared on Weibo:
The Find X8s will feature a remarkably thin bezel and a lightweight body. While these features were previously disclosed, we can now observe the phone’s exact look.
Initially, the Find X8s was rumored to be named “mini” or “Next,” but it appears Oppo has opted for a more straightforward naming convention for its new phones.
Oppo Find X8 Ultra • Find X8s+ • Find X8s
The Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Pro feature an alert slider on the left side, but the Find X8s+ and X8 Ultra will forgo this option, instead opting for a button in that spot. The renders reveal that the Ultra will retain the touch-sensitive key on the right side, which serves as a camera shutter and also enables zoom control by swiping. The X8s+ has no such feature.
The announcement is scheduled for April 10, where we’ll also see a flagship Pad 4 Pro tablet and a smaller Watch X2 mini.
It appears that none of the new devices will be available globally, but we plan to attend the event and learn more directly from the company.
