Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou says Richarlison will not be fit to return from injury against Chelsea on Thursday.
The Brazilian is however in with a chance of appearing against Southampton at the weekend after his latest injury setback saw him miss the last two months with a calf issue.
Richarlison has not featured since a muscle injury sustained in the 4-0 Carabao Cup semi-final second leg loss at Liverpool on February 6.

Asked for an injury update at his pre-match press conference, Postecoglou said: “Nothing new outside of those [Richarlison, Kulusevski and Danso]. Everyone else is fine and training. Radu’s [Dragusin] long-term.
“Richy’s training, probably not tomorrow [for Chelsea game] but a chance for the weekend if he keeps training with the first team as he has been. He’s getting better.
“Deki (Kulusevski) and Kevin are progressing well and probably a week or two with them, they haven’t joined team training yet but are progressing well.”

Ange ‘delighted’ with Romero international action
Postecoglou also said he was “delighted” that defender Cristian Romero featured twice for Argentina on international duty despite only recently returning to action for Spurs.
“I was delighted, mate. If he can get through two games with his national team then it’s great for us.
“He hasn’t played a lot of football and footballers need to play so rather than him sitting around for two weeks.
“He needed games, you could see that in the performances with us before, especially in the Fulham game by the 70th minute he was pretty much cooked in terms of his physical fitness so getting through two tough games at international level is a positive.”
Positive international break
Plenty of Spurs players were in action over the international break and Postecoglou was pleased to see so many of his players get important minutes ahead of the season run-in.
He added: “It was a good international break for us. Firstly, obviously no-one picked up anything, which is important, but also some guys got some game time which we felt was going to be important, guys like [Cristian] Romero, Destiny [Udogie], Matty Tel (pictured), Wilson [Odobert] and all these guys who missed a lot of football recently all got some good game time.
“The ones who played all did relatively well, they’re all back and we’ve had a strong training group in the last couple of days.”
