Samsung is working on the Galaxy M56 with an Exynos 1480 chipset. The information comes from Geekbench, where the phone with model number SM-M566B was listed. It will arrive as a successor to the Galaxy M55, but more importantly, it sports the same chipset as last year’s Galaxy A55.

Only time will tell whether this year’s top-tier M phone will match the A56 as closely or whether Samsung decided to change a feature or two.
The listing did not mention the Exynos chip, but it did reveal the s5e8845 model number, the CPU clusters, and the Xclipse 530 GPU, which all match the 1480 chip. Geekbench also revealed an Android 15 and 8 GB RAM option.

Last year, the M lineup received 45W wired charging, and we expect the Galaxy M56 to have it as well. The big question is whether Samsung will stick to the 5,000 mAh cell or follow the industry trend and bring a bigger Si/Ca battery.
