‘Love Is Blind’ Alums Amber and Matt Barnett Welcome First Baby, a Girl

Amber and Matt Barnett are officially parents!

The Love Is Blind stars, who found love during the first season of the hit Netflix series, have welcomed their first baby, a girl.

Amber, 33, announced the happy news on Instagram on Sunday, April 6, sharing a photo of herself in a hospital bed, seemingly taken just moments after her daughter’s arrival. In the image, both she and Matt have their hands resting on their newborn as she nestles against her mom’s chest.

“Baby Barnett has arrived and is more perfect than anything I could’ve dreamed,” Amber wrote in the caption. “If you hadn’t guessed yet Baby B is a She and I literally still can’t believe the hospital let us take her home and that she is actually ours.”

She continued: “It may be the hormones but @barnettisblind and our baby girl have my heart so full I can hardly function, I hope this feeling never goes away 🩷.”

In the comments of the post, several of the couple’s Love Is Blind costars shared their well-wishes, including Cameron Hamilton, who wrote, “We can’t wait to meet her!!!” referring to himself and wife Lauren Speed-Hamilton.

Amy Tiffany of LIB season 6 commented, “How exciting!! congratulations 💕💕.”

In October 2024, Amber and Matt joined the first episode of Lauren and Cameron’s The Love Seat podcast. While chatting with their fellow Love Is Blind friends, Amber revealed that she was pregnant and that the couple was expecting their first baby together.

Giving a quick life update, she shared, “I sent myself back to school because I felt like we were in a place where I could do that, like, I had the support and I was mentally there.”

“Then, over summer break, he just went and knocked me up,” Amber said, pointing to Matt, 34.

A few days after the podcast released, Amber shared a photo of herself on Instagram in a bikini, standing beside a pool as she put a hand on her growing bump.

“Just to confirm: No, you weren’t seeing things. Yes, I am pregnant,” she wrote in the caption, tagging her husband in the photo.

In the comments, the newly minted mom received words of support from her Love Is Blind family.

“😍😍😍❤️ Baby B,” season 1 costar Lauren Speed-Hamilton wrote in her comments. “A true blessing 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻,” her husband Cameron Hamilton said.

“Omg congrats😍. So happy for you guys!” wrote season 2’s Danielle Ruhl.
