The MTV group is mourning a tragic loss.
Ananda Lewis, a former VJ on MTV reveals like Total Request Live and Scorching Zone, has died, based on her sister Lakshmi Emory. She was 52.
“She’s free, and in His heavenly arms,” Emory wrote in a June 11 Facebook publish. “Lord, relaxation her soul.”
A reason for dying has not been disclosed.
Previous to her passing, Lewis had been battling breast cancer, which she first revealed in a 2020 Instagram publish after being recognized with stage 3 breast most cancers.
4 years later, the previous TV host shared that she had opted to not have a double mastectomy and had as a substitute determined to “preserve my tumor and attempt to work it out of my physique a distinct means.”
“My plan at first was to get out extreme toxins in my physique,” Lewis mentioned in an October 2024 interview on CNN. “I felt like my physique is clever, I do know that to be true. Our our bodies are brilliantly made.”
