Gizelle Bryant Surprised with $25,000 Tacos on Bravo’s ‘Love Hotel’

Gizelle Bryant is turning dating into a luxury experience!

On the premiere episode of Love Hotel, the Real Housewives of Potomac star, 54, chose contestant, Jason “Jay” Bramble to accompany her on the first one-on-one date of the season. After indulging in a few light bites and a complete tequila tasting, the pair was surprised with tacos, which had a hefty price tag of $25,000 each.

“Let me present the finest taco in the world,” the server announced as the duo’s mouths dropped in disbelief, and Gizelle uttered, “I don’t believe that.”

“In the taco is amazing lobster, A5 Kobe beef from Japan…” the server continued before Gizelle exclaimed, “I see caviar! Jesus Christ, I’m about to fall in love tonight, okay? Caviar is my jam!”

The finished product was even topped with a gold leaf. “It’s so beautiful you don’t even want to eat it,” Jay joked before taking a decadent bite. “I can get used to this!”

After asking if their luxury tacos made her feel “richer already,” Gizelle polished off her taco and replied, “I feel rich. This is rich b—- walking — actually this is rich b—- eating!”

Elsewhere during their date, Gizelle opened up about the qualities she was looking for in her next partner.

“Transparency, accountability and sexually proficient,” she told Jay, who agreed with all of her desired characteristics. While Jay was feeling what Gizelle was putting down, the Bravolebrity confessed that she wasn’t sure if he was the right fit.

“So Jay’s in the middle of like, ‘do I want to bang him or do I just want to get to know him better?'” she told cameras. “Because yes, he’s attractive, but he’s just not turning on juices for Giselle to feel like, ‘This is it! Let me get it on.’ He’s just a little boring.”

Bravo’s Love Hotel follows eligible singles who embark on a quest to win the hearts of four of the Real Housewives franchise’s biggest bachelorettes — Bryant, Luann de Lesseps (The Real Housewives of New York City), Shannon Storms Beador (Real Housewives of Orange County) and   Ashley Darby (Real Housewives of Potomac).

Over the years, Gizelle has been candid about her love life and her fallout and reconciliation with her ex-husband Jamal H. Bryant.

The former couple were married from 2002 to 2009, and famously split after Jamal had an affair. They remained on good terms, co-parenting their three daughters even when Gizelle and the kids moved to Potomac.

Then in 2019, the exes briefly reconciled before calling it quits in 2021.

“Listen, we were a victim of the pandemic,” she told E! of their breakup at the time. “I don’t think any long distance relationship can really withstand not seeing each other. But is he still in my life, is he still one of my best friends? Absolutely.”

Before signing on for Love Hotel, Gizelle was last linked to fellow Bravolebrity Jason Cameron. The two began dating in 2023, but have described their romance as something that was “casual and fun and easy.”
