And baby makes four!
JJ Watt and his wife Kealia Ohai Watt announced via Instagram on Monday, Feb. 3, that they are expecting their second baby together.
The couple shared the exciting news with help from their son Koa, whom they welcomed in October 2022, and their two pups.
“Can’t wait to welcome new love into our lives. ❤️💙,” their joint caption read. The post featured snaps of Koa sweetly kissing the former soccer player’s growing baby bump as she looks down and smiles at him while JJ proudly stands nearby. Their dogs are front and center, watching them enjoy the moment.

In another photo, the soon-to-be mom of two smiles for the camera and holds her bump as JJ holds and smiles at Koa. A fun candid image of JJ, Kealia and Koa rounds out the carousel.
The former NFL player turned sportscaster shared even more pics from their special announcement on his Instagram Stories, including one of him holding Koa airplane-style, helping the toddler to kiss Kealia’s bump.
“Koa slightly skeptical,” JJ wrote on top of another Instagram Stories snap. This one shows him bending down and talking to Koa, who listens with a straight face.

Kealia and JJ, who wed on Feb. 15, 2020, celebrated Koa’s 2nd birthday in October.
JJ told PEOPLE in January 2024 that Koa is already following in his parents’ footsteps when it comes to his love of sports.
“He’s really loving sports. He’s got his own little basketball hoop and he loves to put the ball in the hoop. He’s got some mini hockey sticks and he’s finally learning how to use two hands on the hockey stick, which is great.”

He added that he and his wife, who are both athletes, wouldn’t be against Koa taking on a sport of his choosing.
“We obviously love sports because of everything that they teach kids,” he continued. “They teach discipline, they teach hard work, they teach teamwork. They teach how to deal with winning and losing, how to deal with adversity.”
“We’ve experienced that our whole lives, so we’re really looking forward to him participating, as long as he wants to, and it seems so far like he’s interested.”
