Lala Kent Says She Weighed 90 Lbs. After Randall Emmett Split

Lala Kent revealed she lost a significant amount of weight during a “horrendous” breakup.

The Vanderpump Rules star, 34, appeared on the March 14 episode of Brittany Cartwright’s podcast When Reality Hits and opened up about her split from ex Randall Emmett.

“You remember, I was down to, like, 90 pounds,” she told Cartwright. “I couldn’t eat. I was not well. That was the most horrendous time of my life.”

Kent said that she’s since recovered from the split and is a lot healthier, noting that she has to “remind” herself that she’s no longer in that place.

“Like, ‘You’re OK. That time of your life is over, and you’re on the other side,’” she said. “It’s over. It’s done. That feels so good.”

Emmett, 53, proposed to Kent in September 2018, but their 2020 wedding plans were delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. In October 2021, the couple called off their engagement months after welcoming daughter Ocean in March. Kent later accused Emmett of cheating on her repeatedly.

This isn’t the first time Kent discussed stress causing her to lose weight at the time.

During a February 2022 episode of her Give Them Lala podcast, the Bravo star explained that she was “really really thin right now” after losing “about 15 pounds since October.”

Kent said she looked “unhealthy” and struggling to “feel cute” in her body.

“I don’t love feeling this way. You know, I like women with curves. And for me to put a dress on – or literally I can’t wear any of my clothes, nothing fits right now, it hangs on me. And I feel like I look sickly,” she said at the time. “So yes, I’m going to try to eat as much as — I’m trying to consume as many calories as I can but it’s hard as quickly as it goes into your mouth, you want to throw it up because you’re just like that much stress and anxiety on you.”
